Tour Options:
- “The Experience Tour”: recommended for first time visitors, duration of tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes, includes bus ride to and from castle, movie experience, tour of Casa Del Sol (18 room guesthouse), indoor and outdoor pool, esplanade, gardens, and the main house.
- “Upper Floors of Casa Grande”: focuses on art collection and architectural elements of main house, duration of tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes, includes tour of Dog’s Suite, library, kitchen, pantry, indoor pool, and outdoor pool.
- “North Wing of Casa Grande”: deals with the construction and development of Hearst Castle, duration of tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes, includes tour of north wing of casa grande, casa del monte, indoor pool, outdoor pool, bathrooms, terrance, and a film.
- “The Garden Tour”: focuses on the gardens, duration of tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes, includes tour of indoor pool, outdoor pool, Casa del Mar (largest guest house), overview of gardens and grounds, hidden terrance, wine cellar of the main house, and the outdoor pool’s dressing rooms.
- “The Evening Tour”: will be available in October, November, and December of 2010, duration of tour is 2 hours and 10 minutes, it is much like the daytime tour except docents will be dressed up and it will be sort of a theatrical performance.
- “Gardens and Vistas: the Self Guided Tour”: will be available in March through Labor Day weekend, but check out the website read about what there is to see on this self guided tour.

Facts About Bishop’s Peak:
- Bishop’s Peak is one of nine major peaks extending from San Luis Obispo to Morro Bay.
- Bishop’s is the highest of the nine major peaks at an elevation of 1,559 feet above sea level.
- Bishops is a 4.5 mile hike.
- The duration of the hike should be about 2 hours.
- Dirt path and near the top there are rocks to climb up.
- Bishop’s Peak has various rock climbing spots for those of you who like to climb.
Where to Park:
- Foothill Boulevard: park alongside the road between Los Osos Valley Road and Santa Rosa Street
- Highland Drive: take Highland to the end from Santa Rosa Street
